Drone mapping and geospatial analysis — georeferenced, and ready to use.
Drone flights over your stockpile, pit, quarry face, or active site — turned into accurate, georeferenced volumes, current orthophotos, and a visual record of how things change over time. Below-water extraction is handled the same way conventional methods struggle with it most.
You get: volume reports, site maps, and orthophotos — ready to file or compare over time.
Office-based work: raw photogrammetry or mapping data — yours or mine — turned into a clean, usable map. For environmental consultants, hydrogeologists, and other drone operators who need the data processed without doing the GIS work themselves.
You get: a finished map or dataset, in the format you need.
Planned and conducted a mission to collect photos of approximately half a dozen stockpiles in an active quarry. Processed the collected drone imagery to calculate material volumes with photogrammetric accuracy. Collected adequate GCPs and checkpoints using a GNSS RTK rover to confirm volumetric accuracy.
Replaced manual measurement methods with a faster, safer, and more repeatable workflow. Gave the client (property owner) confidence in the material being removed by the subcontractor operating their pit.
I spent five years working a diverse group of projects in the groundwater side of the aggregate industry before picking up a drone.
Now I apply my familiarity with the industry to drone mapping and geospatial analysis. I'm based out of Waterloo Region, and have significant familiarity with the aggregate sector across Southern Ontario, including North Dumfries, Orillia, Bracebridge, and Bancroft.
My time is valuable, and so is yours — if you want to see what this looks like on your own site, get in touch and we'll figure out together whether it's a fit.
I'll get back to you and we can figure out together whether it's a fit.
